I couldn't reverse the problem, so I had to do a complete reinstall of the game and mod (without Napoleons Eagles) and what would you know ? I get the message "Napoleon.exe doesn't seem to be installed in that folder" ? So what the F*** happened ? Anyway I pasted the pathĮ:\Program Files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Napoleon Total War Download for free files to Napoleon: Total War.
When I went to carry on a SP campaign, the game was messed up, cities names were missing and unit descriptions. Make sure mod is installed to the Napoleon Folder, should you find in your games files that your install path sent your install to your data, simply run the uninstaller found in the same location as the launcher and then retry the install. Then the other night I installed the Napoleons Eagles mod, no issues installing, played a quick historical battle and shut down the game. I've installed this mod numerous times without any issues of the type that says "Napoleon.exe doesn't seem to be installed in that folder".
